Not too bothered when mine comes either since I missed launch cus I was napping and ordered mine at 15:41. Still happy to wait and give my money to OCUK instead of the others charging way above MSRP though. At the end of the day I'm just happy I managed to order one before everywhere sold out and orders were closed.I only ordered off vibes and hype, I'm not too bothered when it comes. Given the forum is not critical business infrastructure it is very much easier to implement with no risk to the business. I dare not think how complex their business IT and warehousing systems are, not to mention the kind of risk any simple change would involve.
Just got my DPD notification for delivery today, so hopefully some of you Monday boys who regret not getting Saturday delivery will be right there with me!
Yep same. I ordered one for our business and would be happy to get it whenever it's available. Kudos to OC for charging fair price!

I wanted one for end of November definitely for Christmas, and I thought there wouldn't be a supply issue because I underestimated the demand. I assumed that AMD had been mass producing these for months seeing as there was so little 7800x3d stock around. I was on the forum watching the sale and it just seemed to be so popular, and I realised if I didn't pre order soon I wouldn't get it this year! So many things converged at this launch a lot of people who skipped the 9000 series and stayed on AM4 are now upgrading, all the people who were waiting for Arrow Lake results have chosen AMD, and now we have these impending Tariff issues that will no doubt cause supply problems for months. We will probably have to go through this all again when the GPU launches. I wonder long term what USA tariffs will do to Europe pricing. In the short term it is going to push prices up because the USA are grabbing all the stock and paying higher shipping fees to get the stock ASAP.
So I was just checking my PayPal e-mail which came in at the time I ordered and it actually states "This purchase will appear as a pending transaction until OcUK Limited processes your order."
Does this mean that my order was not processed by OC until the 8th? AMEX shows it as 7th but processed 8th, it doesn't give any time. I'll be a bit disappointed if my 14:39 order actually means I'm right at the end of the list.

I think there's quite a bit of misunderstanding of card payment processing going on here. All card payments follow a two step process: an on-demand authorisation at point of sale which is going to ring fence funds in your account, then a batched settlement process where all the funds for the transactions will actually be exchanged.
That bulk process only runs once per day usually and so it's totally normal for transactions to show as completing the next day, and waiting for that process is not something merchants (like OCUK) will do. As long as an authorisation has been approved, they know that they will be getting the money so that is when goods are exchanged.
Otherwise card payments would be pretty useless

Going by the first post I should’ve been in batch 1 (1407) but I still haven’t had a dispatch notification.
Well that's all we've got to go on. I'm 14:33 so I don't know what to think. You have to assume they haven't sent all Fridays batch out yet.
