AMD A64 Overclocking (SKT 939)

Hi all

Think im getting this right now, and would like people to post advice/suggestions, and yours would help too

my A64 3000+ Venice is now doing 2.4 on air
FSB= 270
RAM Ratio= 150
RAM Speed= 202 MHz

3D Mark 06 Score = 4292

oh and i am only useing some Geil Value 2Gb suggested timmings are 3-4-4-8
 
Quick question, the 3DMark score.. is that just the CPU tests, or if not what's your GFX card?

3000+ at 2.4 seems good, my 3700+ is only just hitting 2.75

not sure what tests tbh, I load it up, and click "run benchmark" so default

my GFX card is a Radeon X1950 PRO

my 3000+ is now doing 2.5 :D , my 3dMark06 has just hit 4320
 
Nice going, not run 06 much as I have a full version of 05 which I hit 10K+ on my X1900XT .. will give 06 a go tonight and let you know :)
Oh and what cooler are you using on the A64?

oh and yes its a full test on 3DMark 06 as per default. and 1280x1024

That Geil Value Ram will run at 2.5/3/3/7 and i had mine stable at 225 (on a divider) at 2.95V.

what do u mean by (on a divider)? i guess u mean the RAM RATIO is down, and FSB up , like mine is on 150 but im actually getting 217

i got mine on 3-4-4-8 at the moment, untill i find out what the fasted i can do , then i will tighten it

i can do 2.6 but im running stable @ 2.5
 
I have cracked 2.7 now, but 3DMark 06 refuses to finnish.
upped the NF4 voltage to maximum of 1.8 and 3D Mark gets a little further but doesent finnish test 1

hmmmm
