AMD announces Ashes of the Singularity game bundle

I've been playing ashes with a friend and have to say its a great game. More factions and modes would be good but the basics are all there.

It does seem odd not to bundle it with the higher tier GPUs though.
 
I hope the game is better than the benchmark. It looks extremely basic, something someone in their bedroom knocked up and glossed it up so it doesnt look like C&C.

Sins of a Solar Empire and Ashes are from the same publisher,and Brad Wardell was involved with both of them too and the Galactic Civilizations series,so it has a good heritage.

Because it runs like arse on my GTX960 and the R9 380 is like 25% to 30% faster than it?? :p

Might have to drop a few settings methinks!

I picked this up a little while back when it was on sale. Can't wait to see it in 1440p eyefinity. I don't think my 7950 has a chance of running it well at that rez but I'll be picking up a polaris card or two when they hit. Benchmark runs pretty well on my phenom2 amazingly. DX12 does some amazing work on it so it's very GPU bound at the moment.
