Again, posted in the memory with a q. Now have a q on the CPU :)

Would this chip suffice for a basic system, jsut to do the most simple of tasks, e-mail, web browsing etc..

Seems good bang for the buck!
 
Looks like it would, although I would say that it may be worth the few quid more to get the 3000G as that can handle higher speed memory which may realise a little bit more performance if you're that way inclined.
