Amd Athlon 3400+ Max Vcore?

hiya guys, i was just curious, ive overclocked nearly every cpu i have ever used but until this one ive never needed or wanted to push up the vcore, but this cpu just dies if i push it to 2.4ghz (only a 200mhz over stock) maybe i just have a bad chip but i was woundering if how far i could push the vcore, ive taken it to 1.52v+ no joy, but am unwilling to push it futher as to be honest im not sure what the consiquences are

any adivce?

more of an Ocing and cooling Q but:

IIRC no more than 1.7v, but it is down to temperatures under load more than volts.
