Hey all,

Ive overclocked my Athlon 64bit 3700+ on my DFI Lanparty UT NF4 board with the following settings:

FSB: 240
Multiplier: 11
HTT Multiplier: 4
CPU Voltage: 1.475
Memory Divider: 166

Im getting a total cpu speed of 2640ghz and cpu temp is only around 45degrees at the max.

Lately tho it seems after a while of use, gaming or just general stuff, the cpu reverts to 2131ghz with a FSB of 194??

CPU-Z reports it as 2131ghz but in the bios its using my settings.

Has anyone got any ideas why this has happened, have i not set enough cpu core voltage?

Cheers in advance,

Alex :)

hmm just checked it def switched off.

Could it be if the voltage is too low it would reduce cpu fsb etc?

would cpu core voltage would you recommend for my current o/c settings?

Cheers

Alex

My friend had this happen, where the HTT was dropping below 200. I thought that was strange. Turned out to be a CPU-Z bug. Are you using the latest CPU-Z?

@Mul i think i am using the latest one i will double check tonight.

Another wierd thing tho is that when it does this reverting back thing, everest ultimate on my vista sidebar also reports the speeds as incorrect.

Im not sure it could be a coincidence.

Any ideas on the voltage?

Would voltage should i be using for my settings?

Cheers

Alex
