AMD Athlon Mobile

Hi guys im slightly new to the overclocking.

I have AMD athlon mobile xp2500-m barton 266fsb cpu

All i want to do is overclock it slightly so i am able to play games at a faster pace without crashes?

Anyone suggest anything?

Well as far as I'm aware, the best way to go about it is:

- A good motherboard which will do 400FSB
- DDR400 Memory

Then, Drop the multiplier to 11, and increase FSB to 200. That gives you 2.2Ghz, 400FSB, and memory running at it's full speed. It'll be more like an XP 3200+.

If this is in a laptop however, this won't be possible.
