Hello, i should be getting my new CPU today i hope, noted deleviry problems, as in it was late, i think if it dont come today then it is really late.

just wanted to ask, has anyone tried to overclock this CPU if so what speed has it gone to? and what sort of cooling did you use?

i read the review that with a stock cooler someone clocked to 3ghz im not so sure that this is possable, as i have managed to overclock my current 3700+ to 2.61 ghz unstable, as in it will load windows, but when runnning prime 95 it fails the calculations and BF2 just CTD, so any info ppl have would be helpful, im using a cooler for an FX55 direct copper heat pipe.

you be able to overclock it close to 2.6ghz but I wouldn't recommend doing it on stock cooling.

Yea well i say its a stock cooler, its the same cooler that im gonna use on this new CPU, the stock cooler for the FX55 the copper direct heat pipe, and it temps on speedfan never went above 36 on full load from Prime95.

Will_3rd i forgot to say thanks for the advice on the cooler, i know its impolite of me to not say thanks, so here it is, better late than never, i may invest in a better cooler next pay cheque. thanks again.

Yea, i couldnt, and now i have my new CPU and full load it maxed out at 44 deg c, so im gonna have to get a different cooler!
