Looking around the pricing is pretty much spot on, some dip as low as £**,* some £***, but those prices don't include postage

You have two options if you don't like the current pricing:
1. Wait it out, surely won't be long until the ref 7970's are on daily/weekly deal
2. Don't buy one.

Still unfortunately looking like an individual card, block and back plate is going to be significantly cheaper than a tech lab 7970 Had high hopes for a ~£460 non OC 7970.
