Hi All,
Has anyone experienced an issue with VRM/Coil Whine on their B550 Motherboards?
I have had the issue on two motherboards now.
MSI B550 Tomahawk
&
ASUS B550-E Gaming
I have replaced all other components surround these boards.
PSU, GPU, CPU and the issue is still a problem.
CPU's tested: Ryzen 5600X and 5800X
GPU's tested: Sapphire RX 6800 XT and Sapphire RX 6800
PSU's tested: ThermalTake Tough Power GF1 850W Gold and Corsair RM850X 850W Gold
The only way I have managed to stop the whine is either by dropping Maximum Process State to 99% in Power Options > Advanced Settings or disabling Core Performance Boost.
Any ideas on this would be great and if you have experienced the issue yourselves let me know how you resolved it please.
