it looks quite even (apps that use 4 cores favour the amd and vice versa) but if it is gaming he is doing it will be a better option to the amd system

soooo..... everything people have been saying here about 2100 beating phenom II X4 at no matter what clock for the past couple of months is wrong?

its still better than anything a phenom II X4 could achieve. if the OP wants to make doubly sure hes got a better processor, he could go for a 2120 for £10 more
