AMD bringing older ZEN to newer nodes

Still a great move from AMD - low investment (existing design) just respun slightly, whilst leveraging the benefits of the smaller process (more chips/wafer, lower power consumption). Likely also fulfills any contractual obligations to keep using the 6nm process (whereas Zen 4 is now 5nm)

For everything other than the cutting edge (e.g. largely now gaming and AI workloads), absolute performance isn't the main focus, but cost and obviously with laptops: power consumption (but equally becoming a factor in desktops, due to high electricity prices and climate change pressures)
