AMD Bulldozer Finally!

Would have to disagree with you onthe underwhelming comment, my pair of 6950's scale so well that they outperform SLI 580's. Would link to the anand bench thingy but on my iPhone... And it's so much effort :D

Fair enough, I didn't pay a ton of attention to that either, my 5770 is good enough for now, but I seem to remember people generally seemed to be making lots of 'is that all?' kind of comments at the performance figures. And I'm guessing it may be the same again here. Though I really hope not.

If AMD can release something that can seriously compete with 2500K @stock and after o/c, while making the price easier to our wallets - Im going with AMD... unless it takes them next 6 months to get it sorted ;)

"In the second quarter will come with AMD's new CPUs Bulldozer architecture. MSI at CeBIT just told that AM3 boards with a chip of the 8-series and bulldozers support to come in April - AM3 boards are a BIOS update bulldozer fit." Made earlier (Möllendorf, Sauter, 28/02/2011)

Does this now mean that theyve found a way for Bulldozer to work in AM3 sockets or is it just a real bad translation thats confusing me?

Dave.
