AMD Bulldozer Finally!

£180 for 8 cores on brand new architecture is dirt cheap. Performance surely sucks....... I sincerely hope not though, but for a high performing chip i'd have thought it would be much more.

I doubt it will actually retail for that price officially, maybe a day one deal.

VAT and all that jazz.
 
emm... question... how many people on this forum have upgraded when it's not "really" been necessary / required / logical etc. I will certainly hold my hand up and say "guilty"!

Folks frequently upgrade for the sake of it. That's sometimes the fun. Logic and what other people think frequently doesn't come into it. It's a free world after all :):):)

i upgrade if i have the money... sometimes not necessary but i've got nothing else to do.
