i thought to be a native 8-core it as to have the cores with they resources like the PII?Because it's all on one die.

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Nah, when they released the X2 and then the X4, they always banged on about it being native because Intel only had chips that took either a single core or a dual core and put two of them on the processor.i thought to be a native 8-core it as to have the cores with they resources?
You are still missing my point.
I am not interested in professional reviews, from websites who may have been paid money by AMD to give them a good review, using a cherry picked CPU.
I want to see user reviews from Joe Public, who have bought a product from a shop.
My question still stands, if there are any user reviews out there, please post them. Please do not post reviews by professional websites as there must be 100s of them around, by now. I have no interest in them.
Right i am going to play devils advocate a bit here!! if you look at all the benchmarks you will notice all are tested on a CHV board that as part of the retail package that AMD sent out also with a GTX 580 if you dig deeper you will find some benches on gigabyte boards with ATI GPU's attahced then there is a slight difference in the figures. if you check forums there are many people who are having problems with BD and CHV boards i think the retail kits that were given out are not showing the true performance values, and after a bios update and a bit of tweaking the chip will do exactly what it was built to do and land firmly behind the 2600k and a bit in front of the 2500k it's too early yet to say too much but the chip has had such bad press no one has bought it. give it time!!!
and intel have raised prices by 10% - with another raise expected next year - and ivy bridge delayed till summer 2012.
I dunno what price change there's been in the UK but the $ - £ exchange rate slumped more than 7% since the end of August and has only started recovering the past couple of weeks, so it could certainly have accounted for price increases here.
Edit: In fact in the same time frame the Euro slumped about 9% against the dollar!

Take a -1 for yourselve then. Geez, two separate links show that prices have increased in the UK and EU largely inline with exchange rate fluctuation and that Intel pricing at source hasn't changed at all...Thats my view. Take it or leave it.

You are both really funny.. Whats with "off with his head" for speaking my mind.. You do that here everyday here, Don't you?
Not all reviews.AMD have lowered their own price/performance, as price wise the FX6 replaces Thuban's and the FX4 replaces Deneb, but they perform worse.
And what truth will Gareth uncover LOL? Every review out shows pretty much consistent results, that is, lower IPC than Phenom II.
Worst thing is, you're probably a dupe account.
All reviews have been made with the retail set and the CHV i'm not saying it's a bad board as i have one here in front of me i am saying that something is not right with it and bulldozer and there will be a new bios realesed shortly.
woot woot seen the cpu on overclockers store but no pc bundles yet. Glad i dint buy the £1400 PC what i was going to buy 2 months ago

the reason why i got a 8150 is to see how it does in my own software, no other reason..
Reading above, has anyone actually bought and posted their own experience of the 8150 yet?
You know, normal folk like us? I want to read a 8150 user thread, any forum, but they seem thin on the ground!
Has anyone any links.
