AMD Bulldozer Finally!

This is just a bad case of Pre BD Tension. It will all be gone tomorrow and we can all revel together in either joy or misery but if the build up is anything to go by my bet is on further uncertainty.

In fact I'm going to point to the elephant in the room and say this. With so little coverage and so few benchmarks less than 24 hours before the products meant to be out AND the fact that we've not even had a small smattering of decen benchmark leaks. I'm going to say that BD won't come out tomorrow and in fact there is a further delay :P

Youve just jinxed us! If they delay im a hang you by your nut sack!!! Lol

oh for goodness sake, quit moaning about sandybridge motherboards for three graphics cards and PCIe lanes and get yourself an Asrock Z68 extreme 7 gen3

that will happily do SLI/crossfire at x16/x8/x8

source

*edit*
the benchmarks clearly show that there will be a small difference, between x4, x8 and x16 which increases as the resolution does

But it uses a chip which means increased latency = stuttering. Atleast that's what I hear.

I said it shows a difference, however, the difference decreases as the resolution increases, at least in the case of Dirt 3 ;

Yeh the NF200, which won't do PCI-E 3.0 (IIRC), there would need to be a new revision to it, as it's not running at the right speeds?

Does BD support Tri Channel DDR3?

AFAIK it only does dual channel?

Yeah its only Dual, have given up on the flip flops of difference no difference from Martin now as theres not a cat in hells chance of Martin ever being wrong and I'll end up rising up the table of posting too much in this thread lol.

You're definitely trolling, I can clearly see there is a difference, it's just small, as I've been saying all this time.

I even showed a benchmark and said 20 FPS difference.......

You think hes in any kind of relationship? Hmm :D
Sssshh make sure he dont hear you!

Is it really that important how the BD performs? Not like anyone has bought one yet.. If BD was the only CPU available and we had no other choices then yeah sure - loose some sleep...

Choices choices, that's a good thing for us consumers - benchmark wars are just crazy

Could you let it go please Martin its an impossible argument, everything we have said is in this thread you saying theres hardly any difference then saying theres a 20 FPS difference???? I quite literally give up and as soon as name calling starts its time to give up on a discussion as I'm beyond schoolyard antics thanks.

Intel doesnt have turbo boost haha AMD does have it haha :D

Eh? Theres something wrong with my chip then as its using something called Intel Turboboost technology? The Intel swines making out its got turbo lol.
