AMD Bulldozer Range FFS

Just bought an AMD 1090t just 2 months ago, i am very pleased with the performance but now ive just heard about these AMD bulldozers.

From what ive seen they arnt too much more expensive than the 1090t and have 8 cores, plus intergrated graphics. Wish i had waited for them.

Do you guys think that they will be much better than my 1090t and even the high end i7s?

first generation Bulldozer processors don't have GPU on-die, that is second generation Bulldozer. the only current AMD processors with on-die GPU is Llano processors, waiting for Bulldozer here as well.

Are the Llano any good has any one got one, i think ive seen a few benchmarks of them they look average, good for gaming but **** for everday tasks

To the OP your CPU is fine. When you start noticing a lack of performance then perhaps it is time to buy a CPU. Try to avoid CPU forums as they will make you think that your CPU is no more powerful than a box of crackerjacks(good old Weird Al Yankovic).

Too many armchair experts on the internet make crap "predictions" which tend to be meaningless in the end. How many people could even predict that AMD would released a 45NM 904 million transistor 2.8GHZ six core 95W Phenom II X6 six core or a 1.5 billion transistor 65W Llano quad core?? What about the success of Zacate?? None,because AMD is supposedly using outdated "everything" or there were comments along those lines.

I tend to use Intel myself because they are better supported for mini-ITX and SFF computers but still some of the comments against AMD are hilarious.

Nothing wrong with a 1090T for a good while yet, nothing it cannot cope with either.

Indeed. Having more cores at the moment isn't much but it will become more valuable over time.

Not being funny but news about bulldozer has been around for ages, you should've done a little more research tbh.

It has been being pushed back for a while to be fair - but this is just more reason why you should've heard of it already

i think you are confusing Llano with Bulldozer, bulldozer still seems long time coming

1090T is great but if when bulldozer comes out and you like it.. get it?

New stuff comes out nothing ya can do about it, all ye can do is try and get best for whatever your budget is at time of purchase
