Well with what my 2 repliers have said I'm thinking maybe august next year.The prices will probably be really high since of the new fusion concept.

So looks like intel/AMD next gen cpus are due spring/summer/fall 2011.

Think ill look for a cheap quadcore rigg to enjoy for another 6-12 months more till the nextgen stuff arrives

fusion is due at the end on the year on bobcat which is a low power platform to compete with intels atom

I believe fusion is using the power of the cpu and the gpu to enchance performance.

There like two major releases. One will be for netbooks which is out end of this yr/early 2011
Then for Desktops it will be released around sept 2011 i believe
