AMD Cache Question (512 vs 1MB)

Say on an Athlon 64 single core processor, what would be the best;

A) A 3800+ with 512 cache

B) A 3700+ with 1MB cahce

Is cache a significant thing, more important than a few MHz difference?
 
Just found a 4000+ 1MB 939 thank god, so Ive got the best of both.

For reference though, in layman terms how much difference to FPS does 1MB cache make over 512K?
