so i check amd for new drivers and turns out there is a new CAP, in the past i have always uninstalled the older version then installing the newer version, but i am starting to question my own method, is it necessary or do i keep all the old CAPs meaning the new caps will do what amd says but not contain the older features? e.g the new CAP fixes cf scaling on Crysis2 but will it still have the same effect in fixing the flickering on Crysis2 on an old CAP

sorry if it doesnt make sense im kinda out of it right now....
 
do as you've been doing :)

the old ones may conflict with the new ones, so get rid. the new ones will have all the appropriate fixes/enhancements as the old ones, with a few more.
