AMD Casually Announces Machine Learning FSR

FSR 4 is so good it even manged to upscale the MSRP of the RX 9070 XT by a £100!

In all seriousness, good job by AMD's software team they really did need to produce a big uplift in quality with this generation of FSR and it looks like they've done just that. Hopefully this will mean people will take Radeon GPU's seriously going forwards and they'll have less reasons to plump for the GeForce alternative.

Interestingly despite people saying DLSS4 is better than DLSS3,it is not always the case and FSR4 can be better in some cases.

Apparently AMD is using a mixed CNN/Transformer model for FSR4.

But many on here thought DLSS3 was the best,so FSR4 should be OK then? I expect not!
meh theres always weak points in all upscalers you have to compare the weak with the weak points and strong with the strong of each model
