This better sort out the abysmal performance of 11.11b. That was by far the worst driver in months.

Seems AMD are just churning these out wholesale instead of taking their time and doing a proper job.

These are beta drivers and come as is, you don't have to use them. Stick to the whql drivers if you don't want to try a beta driver.

I never had any major troubles with their drivers, though I do think it might be worth them releasing them less frequently. In fact that's where I think half of the 'problem' lies, if they put out drivers less often then in theory they could only develop 'issues' as often as Nvidia do. It would be more of a one to one scale that way. :D

Just tried still bad so still no skyrim for me.
Given the Crossfire/driver issues with so many big games - like RAGE, BF3, Skyrim, etc - I'm strongly considering going with nVidia next generation. I know they've had their issues as well but nothing like AMD recently.

The problem I've got is that my card - HD5970 - requires Crossfire to perform well and both RAGE and Skyrim took weeks to see that support added, which is often after I've completed the games. I need good performance on day one. I also had serious graphical issues with both games, which undermines the experience considerably.

Rage doesn't support SLI at all and probably never will FYI.
