AMD Catalyst 12.9 AMD Official BETA

Tbh I usually game at stock clocks of 1070/1400, but at the moment I'm running various benchmarks for a thread on here (should be showing up some time today) at ref stock (925/1375) and with a moderate OC of 1200/1600.

1200/1600 I'm using 1.21v core, 1.635v memory, +20% and aux voltage at +30mv. Max OC depending on game is 1340-1350/1950 though I need to rework the memory clock as correction is slowing things down I feel.

I'll have a mess with it later and see where I get too. Stuck the Lighting in my other machine with a Triple screen setup, to get some use out of it.

Memory voltage is given a nudge just for piece of mind, it sits at 1950 with 1.655v, it will probably do 1600 on stock volts, it can push over 2000mhz @ 1.7v but memory correction cripples it. For testing the memory I use unigine with AA/tesselation maxed out.

I just based my overclocked settings of 1200/1600 on some average high OC's I found on the 7970's, some cards do seem to have real issues pushing the memory unfortunately so my aim is a 'within reach' OC for the majority of users.

@Mal, watercool, then have no fear pumping some more volts through it ;) My max OC sits at 1.362v core voltage :D

Hmm, after some further testing seems i can get 1775mhz out of the memory without touching the voltage. 1825 @1.625v, 1900 @1.6500v.

Needs further testing if those are fully stable though. Will run some sleeping dogs, nothing is more brutal on the memory than extreme.

Scrap that, sleeping dogs soon proved that those clock weren't stable.

I've now settled on 1771mhz @1.612 which is a nice mix of speed and no increase in temps. :)
