Here's something interesting guys. On 14.4 RC1 drivers, with 1100/6000 clocks on my cards, I passed 3600 points in Unigine Valley. With the new 14.6 driver and the same settings in CCC and clocks, I scored 2562 and 2596 2 tests. That's a thousand points drop, which is huge.

Anyone else done some proper benching on these drivers and not caught up in Watch Dogs performance?

Might roll back to 14.4rc1 and bench again. weird.

Valley is bottlenecked by my CPU but i can give it a go.

Hi everyone,

installing these drivers gave me an issue, basically after installing they seem fine then once I reboot my PC starts loading, I see the windows loading screen but then it all goes black, all I can see is my cursor over a black screen. This is where the password screen for my login would usually be.

I have tried this twice now. Uninstalling CCC and drivers via windows uninstall, then a reboot, then driver sweeper to catch anything, reboot, install 14.6, installs with errors like every new driver I get but nothing that stops them working (error log looks like a load of messy code) then next time I reboot I get a black screen.

Any idea's? I have to get into windows recovery and do a system restore just to get back ontpo my desktop...

I found something interesting with these drivers. I've had to increase my voltages or i get a black screen when idle. I've had to increase voltage two notches from my previous undervolted settings.

i got in a right state installing these drivers, system just hung and had to turn off pc then i could not even install the old drivers, in the end i had to do a system restore which sorted it and im now back up and running, i think i will leave the old 14.4 for now

Mines running 60-90FPS now After much playing around

Crossfire ON
i7 3770k @ 4.2 (no difference to 4.8)

Textures set to High - Ultra Kills Vram to Quick
GPU Max Frames 3
Level Detail - Ultra
Shadows - High (looks no different to Ultra)
Reflections - High (looks no different to Ultra)
Ambient - MBHAO (HABO Looks worse, i think its Nvidia only to?)
Motion Blur - Off - Hate it
Depth of Field - Only seem to make difference in cars. so turned it off

this driver also fixed
My 16:9 21:9 16:9 Resolution issues

never mind guys, I Was being a total NOOOOOOB

I had SuperSampling enabled in CCC because I was messing around with it on in Watch Dogs lmao. Just got in and done a proper run with Unigine Valley and made a 3641 score so a new high for me :)

Helped my Watch Dogs experience very much. It stopped stuttering massively. Good work AMD!

*edit* For reference I am using a Radeon 7970 and was on 14.2 drivers. These helped a lot.

Yeah i have Gigabyte 7970 and so far on Golum on BF4 not 1 lag spike on mantle.

On 14.4 temps on Crysis 3 would go no higher than 80c at 40% fan speed but with these drivers they increased to 84c. I can't see any difference in framerate.

Went back to 14.4 and back to normal. Does anybody else notice a increase in temps with these drivers?
