I not long ago installed a AMD HD 7790 OC card in my new build and started to get the Display driver stop working only to be told after 20 second's it had recovered - So searched for new driver and found update 13.152 - from 12.104.

This has cured driver problem but now Catalyst Control Center no longer works -

"There are currently no settings that can be configured using Catalyst Control center" is message I get.

Can anyone tell me if this is normal now.

Thank's

dave

Are you on Windows 7?

Uninstall as normal, then use this (Not for Win 8) Right click run as Admin, reboot when prompted.

Install this driver.

The 7790 have its own specific Driver, its not the same GPU as all the other HD 7K GPU's.

Please make sure you have installed Net Framework 4 and 4.5 and have installed all net framework service pack updates via Windows Update. Ater that i recommend following Humbugs advice and removing the old driver and installing the 13.10 beta driver.

Thanks gent's - that gives me something to do

Matt

I did see 13.10 beta but read warning's and as a basic novice I went for other one.

Will no look at links

Thanks Dave

Ignore any warnings. Usually written by people who have no idea what they're doing. Let me know if you're still having problems. :)

Matt

Just did the job - went flawlessly - all up and running again

Thanks very much to you and Humbug.

Dave

ps net.framework 4- 4.5 is included with drivers
