I currently have it set to Override application settings with Adaptive Multi-Sample AA enabled.

It is ok to have it set this way or better to leave it on use application settings?

Thanks

Its for applying levels and types of AA a game does not support.

For example BF4 only goes upto 4x MSAA. using the drivers you can force it to run something far more fancy than that, like 8xEQ, Edge-Detect, Supper-Sampling....

you can do the same with AF, textures settings......

Its a great tool that not many know about let alone use, but like turning up IQ in game it will drain the performance.

Yes your setting is fine. Using CCC you can overide games and set exactly as you wish.

Take a look at this thread. In most DX11 games you need to set enhance rather than override for settings to work correctly. That link should explain things.

I know, add that to the Mantle application feature compatibility needs list.

Mantle literally puts everything in the hands of the developer was the answer i was given when i privately enquired about this, but i agree.

GVR yes i understand that, but AMD's own Game enhancement tools?

Is that not literally something that over-rides the Game Engine from outside?
