AMD Core Unlocking on Nvidia Chipset?

Before I thought it was only possible if you had an AMD 710southbridge or higher if memory recalls.

But now it looks like it is possible on a AM3 board with an Nvidia SLI chipset?

I just updated the bios on aa ASUS M4N72-E to support a 965 and noticed it has core unlocking now.

Post screen shows, press 4 to activate ACC function.

Damn, lucky! Cant believe they haven't added unlocking support for my CrossHair II

iirc nvidia came up with their own version of ACC. Just didnt make much hype about it

edit: asus have also developed a chip that focuses specifically on unlocking amd cores. I think in this case its the asus chip, but i have heard of nvidias ACC somewhere
