I just got myself a new heatsink for my AMD FX 6200, at 0% its running at 30c but when i use atleast 20% of the CPU within 2mins its at 90c then my computer shuts down obviously. the new heatsink i replaced it with is Arctic Cooling Freezer Xtreme Rev.2. While i was replacing my heatsink, i did bend two or three pins on my cpu, but i straightened them out, could this have made my CPU unstable? should i replace my cpu? or should i change my thermal compound?
(i always made sure that the heatsink isn't near the memory)
My computer build is:
Be Quiet! Dark Pro 550
Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3
AMD FX 6200 (not overclocked at all)
XFX AMD HD7870 2gb
8GB of kingston 1600 memory
