Anything is faster than a P4, even the P3 was shown to quicker than a P4.

For the very first P4 'A' that is true, not for the B (133FSB) or C (200FSB) models.

to be honest, i doubt there will be any difference. i have a 9yr old gaming pc (in my sig) and it still works very well as a basic computer for web browsing, music, msn etc.

i even play games from that era on it such as quake 3
