I don't recall AMD releasing ANY info about their future products. It's all come from the likes of VR-Zone, and you guessed it, Fud.
Always been behind except for R300?
Errr
R350/360 (9700/9800 Pro/XT) - R400? (X8x0XT etc) then R580 (X19x0s)
All better (just) than nvidia.
He talks **** daily.
FUDzilla, assuming that comes from the same FUD acronym which stands for Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt.

Anyone like to call a stop on Fud topics? they are pretty pointless, not amusing and basically **** stirers of the news websites.
Not in an official capacity.
Large technology companies, however, know the value of a good rumour and will often sanction anonymous information leaks. It wouldn't be the first time these deliberate leaks have involved disinformation, but I seriously doubt that AMD and nvidia don't already have detailed information on their opposition's development cycle. They regularly poach each others staff.
Companies rarely release official information until everything has been finalised. That isn't to say they don't want people talking about their upcoming produce though.
Yes - but recenlty often later than nVIDIA - hence behind. Since X800 era ATi have been behind on the feature set, which is one thing that will make the RV670 launch interesting.
nVIDIA and ATi have both upped the naming scheme when there was no real difference in features (ignoring raw performance). The 9800s and X800s were really one generation. Likewise the Geforce 6 and 7 series were one generation.
It's really been:
DirectX9.0 (were there revisions a and b? I'm pretty sure the shader models didn't change) Radeon 9xxx/Xxxx vs Geforce FX - ATi win (nVIDIA late)
DirectX9.0c Geforce 6 / 7 vs Radeon X1xxx - Tie (ATi very late)
DirectX10.0 Geforce 8 vs Radeon HD2xxx - Nvidia win (ATi/AMD very late)
DirectX10.1 Geforce ? vs Radeon HD3xxx - Who knows? (looks like nVIDIA late)
Is everyoner forgetting the X1900's came out before the 7900's?![]()
