Chaps,

I need a quick bit of insight. Been having what I thought was graphics driver issues and I have finally got round to solving most of them. Running 13.12 at the moment. But I have a new problem that I need some guidance on.

When running on completely stock settings I can load BF4/Bioshock Infinite up and play.

But as soon as I apply my overclock, to what I think is a mild state of 4.4 Ghz @ 1.275 Vcore. Memory to XMP etc. When I try to load the above games I get the BSOD and the atikmpag.sys error 0x000000000000000000116.

These settings were stable when using Catalyst Version 13.9 but they seem not to be now. Updated my mobo to the latest BIOS and its just causing me to scratch my head even more.

Any pointing in the right direction would be gratefully recieved as I feel like chucking the darn PC out the window at the moment!

Tonight's testing has highlighted that this error is linked to my CPU overclock.

I can run at 4.2Ghz stable and fire up BF4 and Bioshock without any problems.

As soon as I move my O/C to 4.4Ghz or above I get the x116 error atikmpag.sys BSOD.

I would love to know what to tweak to stop this happening, as I do want to push the overclock a little higher than 4.2!

The new graphics driver has exposed the O/C perhaps. As I said everything was rock solid when using 13.9.

Will up the VCore, Ring Voltages and have a play around.

I have a few days off coming up and going to be doing some testing with the overclock and a few other voltages to get it stable. Definite learning curve for me, as frustrating as it is, it is great to be learning from it!
