Amd Dual cores Vs Core 2 duo

Sorry for bringing this up again, i bet its been discust so many times...
Basically what The title says AMD Dual Cores Vs Core 2 Duos

Which is the most powerful ?

Which is the Most expensive ?

Which is the most efficient ?


i find AMD the best only because ive never had to replace a AMD pcu because of damage,

and AMD in my experience (V.small ) I find AMD the most efficient and cheapest...

Just want to find out other stories what other opinions are like

so in real terms dosnt matter what you say its allways gonna be Core 2 duo over AMD Dual core, hmmm

i wasnt sure wether to go for a biggish 4600+ dual core or the E6600

sorry and i mean by powerfull, as in gaming and media purposes which runs and could cope the best in maximum performances

Core 2 Duo will be the fastest and overclock more, a 35w X2 would be best for a media centre though.

i have a 4200+ dual which im more thn likely going to sell, i dont know why i want the E6600, whats The differences between them in gaming..

yer only DUAL CORES, quad are mega out of my budget , AMD are bringing out the quad core with the DDR3, and 22.3gb/per second transfer rates, unbelievable and pretty pointless i think
