Hi Guys,

Do you know what the AMD equivalent of an Intel Pentium® 4 1.6 Ghz, 1.8 GHZ, 2.4 GHz and 3.2GHz are?

Any information you could provide me would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

In current CPU's you can buy now, the only one fast enough to still have a comparable AMD choice is the 3.2Ghz which would be an Athlon 64 3000. The others you have listed are so slow that even the lowest end CPU in production today will be faster than them.

If your going back to older CPU's 2nd hand then yes the 1600+, 1800+, 2400+ are all good comparisons to the Intel ones, although the 3200+ was not quite as fast as a 3.2Ghz P4. In that case an Athlon 64 2800+ or 3000+ are far more in line with that performance.
