The A8 is a APU so has a GPU already built in. Mixing an APU and GPU doesn't make much sense and could gain better performance with a standalone card and CPU, or the APU might be capable as it stands.

What's your budget in mind, might be able to assist?

Haswell is a couple of weeks away so it might be worth waiting a tad longer before you upgrade!

about £250 for cpu and and board

Wait for Haswell and grab a 1150 motherboard and 4670k? Should come to around £250.
