AMD folding improvements?

Been absent from the forums for a while (changed jobs, real life etc) but still been folding on the machine. Last time I checked in ATI cards were still down in PPD because of changes to drivers a while back.

Over the summer I got a new 7950 card but my PPD still isn't that great, any way to increase the PPD at all as i'm still hovering around the 10-15k PPD mark which seems low.

7950 should get you around 70-80K PPD with the -advanced flag

By my understanding if you don't use your passkey you have to return 10 units before you qualify for the bonuses, or am I wrong (I have been before)

and setting the client-type > advanced flag gives you a better chance of bagging those high scoring project 8900(core_17) beauts

I believe at some point the core went through an update. may be worth shutting down and deleting the core (search for FahCore_17.exe ) When you restart fah you should get the newer core.

No you need the passkey regardless, but you need to submit 10 successful/on time units before you start to get the bonus points, you also have to maintain a high (80%?) success/ontime rate to keep the bonus.

setting the advanced client flag did the trick, up to 80k PPD now so all good.
Just got to watch the temps on stuff atm rig is running a bit hot so a good clean out in the case and a watchful eye on things in order.
