AMD free games

Mite seem like a stupid question but the free games you get with buying an amd rx 480 say there worth such an such but can you sell them.
I got civilization vi code but I don't play games like this so sold it on ebay the person that brought it after a while said when they tried to use the code it said they have to activate on the amd sits or something like that.
I tried an it didn't work I emailed amd with pictures of my code but not heard anything back can it be sold i'm at a loss

maybe they have to register the code @ AMD , which then gives them a new game code for CIV VI

well it went to a better place thank you but again when ask for code it says need more proof yet again so sent again see what happens its ridiculous what have to do just to get some stuff that should just be given as a code on you're receipt thanks for help though
