i bet its not impossible to have a screen with both tho and be able to disable the gsync part its just they wont do it lol
i havent heard anything about dell
are they likely never to support this kind of stuff?
Lovely to see AMD working so hard to bring this great free technology to as wide an audience as possible. So refreshing for a company to look out for their customers, rather than trying to stitch them for a quick buck at every turn. AMD should be applauded.
We need more Free/G-Sync UHD monitors. Are there likely any quick IPS UHD monitors with Free/G-Sync getting released this year?
You need to visit the monitor forum more often

I meant UHD as in "4K" UHD (3840 x 2160).
My bad, i dont know the model numbers off the top of my head but there's a Asus ROG 4k ips gsycn/freesync on its way. I "think" there's a acer one as well.

That's a very one-sided perspective.What?
Freesync doesn't work with 280x, 7990/7970/7950, etc.
It's basically 290 or 285 only. AMD are pushing people to new GPUs.
GSync works fine with 6 series GPUs, which are of the same era as 7970.
Still glad I dumped my 7970/7990 trifire for 980s and RoG Swift.
