Was playing World of Tanks on my 2nd Rig earlier and noticed it was getting really hot - it's a backup and doesn't get games on a lot
On inspection it was the graphics card which was really hot - infact it was making the whole case too hot to touch
The card was one I picked up 2nd hand a long time ago and I had never redone the Thermal paste etc
When I took the card apart it was easy to see how it had crusty thermal paste & the pads were flaking off
I was going to pick up some Kryonaut & some Thermal Grizzly Thermal Pads - my only question is
Has anyone done this before who could advise whether it is the 0.5 Thermal Pad or the 1.0 mm Thermal Pad that I would buy
