AMD FX-4170 Vs. Intel Core i3-3220

Hoping that the Vishera quad core forces Intel to either drop the price of an entry level i5, or unlock the 3220.

Shame there isn't more games used.

Power usage on that FX4170 is pathetic in comparison to the Intel chips though.

An unlocked core i3 would probably be the end for the current amd quads.

I hope that AMD's new cpus do give intel some competition. Im tired of hearing intel all the time.

Unlocked i3 would probably be the end of locked i5's too as well, don't like this whole locking stuff, winds the hell out of me.

Even if Intel did release an unlocked i3 they'd probably replace the TIM with silly putty, for cost reasons of course.
