AMD FX-60, 4800/P4 3.8ghz?

I'm looking at getting a super fast gaming laptop and i want to know which processor will be best. AMD Athlon™ 64 FX-60 Processor with HyperTransport and Dual Core Technology or the AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 - 4800+ Processor with HyperTransport and Dual Core Technology. i want to use it for music production too, using clean audio (no compressions) and need it to be fast enough to cope.
What are the pros and cons to buying either of the processors above and can you suggest something faster? possibly the Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 670 w/ HT Technology 3.8GHz 2MB Cache?
