AMD FX-8320 Cooler

Hi,

I am a complete novice with building/upgrading a pc, I have recently bought a cheap second hand pc to learn about pulling them apart and trying to put them back together and so far so good! nothing has broke on me yet!

I have a AMD FX-8320 (AM3+ socket) with the stock cooler which seems to be struggling under a high load, I’m not looking at spending a fortune as I want to play around for a while before I building something nice. Can you recommend a low budget and a mid budget air cooler. I’m not after super quite, id rather prioritise temp over sound!

This is hard to beat for the price. It's VERY large though, Height with fans is 165mm so check the max CPU cooler height for your case before buying.
