AMD FX Black edition questions

ok even when i was a proper into PC OCing back in the S939 and AM2 days, Black editions ment Unlocked Multiplier and FX series ment the high end CPU's and also unlocked multiplier, so what does the AMD FX BE mean? and BE would be redundent as FX already means unlocked

You raise a point, it is somewhat redundant.
This current FX line are all unlocked, although the moniker isn't what it used to be.

Not in this case, FX is the brand name of the processors themselves (like Phenom, Athlon, etc).

ok so FX like i said is teh High-end range, and as we all know they are unlocked so why have the Black Edition stamped on FX CPU's, lol that why i opted for the AMD Fx 4100 flooishly, lol. ahhh Martini1991 the ol days when FX CPU's were the dogs ********, and Black Edition ment u were also the Don , lol

Yeah, it's a moniker dragged through the dirt to be honest, the FX4100 isn't a great CPU, the Phenom II X4 was better.
