Hi All.
I just upgraded from my old school Q9550 to an AMD FX8350.
Its running a stock 4ghz which isn't to shabby but I will over clock soon. So with that in plan I'm getting my software in order ready for it. And I have been googling for hours trying to find the answer to my question.
When I overclocked my Q9550 I used Real Temp. Which is a great program to view all 4 core temps.
With the FX8350 being 8 core it doesn't like it so I cant use that anymore.
I have been downloading a number of programs i.e: Core temp but I'm only ever getting 1 temp reading (rather than 8 difference ones)
I can see the process of each core but never the individual temps.
So I checked on my mobo bios (Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3) and I can see all 8 cores but there showing the same temperatures.
So it got me thinking does this processor only have 1 temp sensor that shows an average of the temps all together?
Also If you have any tip for overclocking this processor on this mobo feel free to share
Thanks
Paul
