can somebody help me out & give me a parts list around the AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core 8350 Black Edition 4.00GHz (Socket AM3+) Processor & the Asus GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU II 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphic....

No mate I just wanted the best cpu AMD do, am I correct in thinking that's the best at the moment??? As for the GPU I don't really want to spend more than £250 , I suppose I can spend up to £900 be nice to get it for less if possible

If you haven't got the GPU already, you should look at getting the AMD Radeon 7950 for 175.00.

Any reason for wanting to go AMD over Intel on the CPU front?

At the beginning I was going to go down the intel i7 route but after playing my friends AMD gaming pc that cost nearly half the price it kind of made me think twice as the games looked awesome.

I don't want a super computer I just want a rig that will be better than the XBOXONE & PS4 if possible & something I can store and watch movies on, as it will be in my living room & taking over from my XBOX.

Would you be overclocking? If you're not you could get the Haswell Xeon which is an i7, but at the i5 4670k's price.

For 900 pound, it's very likely that an i5 4670K and Radeon 7950 will be the way to go.

I'm a total novice to the pc world so over clocking isn't a thing I will be looking into until I know and have more experience

This will be my first venture into the pc world, apart from my laptop lol
