AMD Geode NX CPU???

Does anyone know anything about these? I have looked on the AMD Website but vague is not the word... Are they any good? what are they equivelent to? I am just looking for something to replace my PIII 700 in my tiny Download box...

From a brief article I read they are 'extreme' low power chips that don't require fan cooling. Although it didn't say what socket mobo (if any) they run on. I don't think they are aimed at the home user.

Hmmm I've seen these on boards with integrated cpu's. Again from what I've heard they are just low powered chips which can run passively.

AMD Geode is basically an embedded processor, similar in some ways to a MIPS based processor (e.g. NEC VR series), or an ARM9 based processor.

What Intel & AMD do with their 'legacy' processors is keep them going but target embeddeed (i.e. non-PC) applications.
