just wondering can i run my igp with my 5800 series gpu and have the system route video from the 890gx onboard through the 5800 series card to my monitor? the idea would be to auto switch between igp for low power when surfing.playing music and then go to the 5850 when gaming? i know it can work at the same time if connecting a separate monitor but thats not quite the same thing 
also, im considering a trinity apu when they are out. Then again trinity might bring llano down in price and i might pick up a 3870k. Does the new llano / trinity APU allow for better switching between APU and GPU ? so perhaps profile based via control center or auto switch when drawing lots of power on games?
the basic idea is to run a low power IGP/APU and only use the GPU when gaming, i suspect buying a new 7000 series gpu will work better due to zerocore?
