AMD ITX Buil Help.. Have everything but the board!!

Hi all,

Basically I have this but need the board. Is it going to be possible?

I found the Zotac 8200-ITX Wi-Fi Socket AM2+/AM2 Mini-ITX but thats missing the full length pci express.

AMD X2 550 3.1 Ghz
8800 GT
500 Watt PSU
2 X2GB PC 8500 Geil
Lian Li PC-Q07B Mini-ITX Case

To use my current hardware it seems I need.

Full Length PCI Express
4Gb memory support (2 slots)

Please help. Really need a board that will use all this.

I honestly don't think there is an AMD itx board with a pci slot

Jetway JNC62K AM2+ GeForce 8200 Mainboard

Jetway JNC81-LF AM2+ AMD780G Mainboard

MSI 690T AM2+ Fuzzy Mainboard

Some seem to have 1 ram slot or use laptop ram though!

EDIT: DARN IT JUST SAW THE EXPRESS AFTER PCI LOL. Try find this:

J&W Minix 780-SP128MB AM2+ Mini-ITX Mainboard - OEM

SO-DIMM RAM THOUGH

Mind you that isn't the end of the world as you could sell you DDR2 ram for a lot of money second hand atm as DDR2 ram prices are so high, you could then buy so-dimm ram for the mianboard.

I can't post a link as it will be seen as a competitor.

I had a look a couple of weeks back and I couldn't find a board with mini-ITX, AM2+ or AM3 support, DDR2, and a PCIe x16 slot.

I'll keep looking though, and post back if I find anything. Shame really, Core 2 has the Zotac and there's the DFI for i5/i7, but nothing for AMD.

If you setup your overclockers trust account you can post on the For Sale forum. You can sell your RAM there.

It's got the PCIe slot, but it doesn't quite tick *all* the boxes.

It has DDR2 SO-DIMM slots, I don't think there is a board that ticks all the boxes.

Cheers for all the replies gents,

Its looking like either sell my ram and get the J&W Minix 780-SP128MB AM2+ Mini-ITX Mainboard

or sell the CPU and get the intel Zotac.

How much difference will the SO-DIMM RAM speeds be compared to my current PC-8500 stuff. Ill have to google it and compare costs also.

It looks like this is the only board than can do what im asking. If I sell my 550 I should be able to use my ram and gpu in this one I think.

Well not to get silly over this but you only highlighted DDR2, which the J & W supports, albeit with SO-DIMM.
