AMD Laptop Processors

Been taking a look at various laptops and I've been wondering what the general feeling on AMD mobile processors is v the Intel CPU's?

I have a HP laptop with dual core 1.6ghz turion from like 3 years back and I still love it. Does the job nicely

Well the Laptops with AMD processors tend to be cheaper to buy then there Intel powered rivals, in the past i would say that Intel made the faster chips but as i don't own a AMD laptop i have no clue how it compares to my sig laptop but i would personally perfer Intel to AMD.

Intel are generally regarded as being faster, and use less power, so that's why they're essentially the default choice.
