AMD mantle 14.1 beta problems

Hey chappies.
I was wondering if any of you guys tried the beta for mantle on r9 290x.
Been playing around with it on bf4 but the server I,m in seems to freeze up and lock up for restart every time . Any 1 else come across this or is it just me putter lol . it,s fresh out the box simitar 460i. Runs fine with 13.12 driver though lol . Though mantle was designed for these high end cards ?
