Mantle not really working for me on crossfire it runs ok but when i get shot in BF4 i get huge frame rate drops.

MS posted a blog post months ago saying that they were planning on taking lessons from DX11.X (the xbox one version, which is heavily rumoured to be the basis of mantle) and integrating it across all 3 windows platforms, so it is hardly surprising they seem to be pushing ahead with it
Though as always they will tie it to window$, so im still looking forward to what might happen with steamos support
